Abstract

This research was motivated by the minimal use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology)-based learning media, especially in social studies subjects, thus affecting the learning outcomes of students. This is based on observations and interviews that quizizz media has never been used at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Perwira 01 North Bekasi for learning activities, so it makes researchers interested in using quizizz media on the basis of facilities such as computers and networks that are adequate for learning activities using ICT-based media. This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Quizizz Media on Class IV Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Perwira 01 North Bekasi State Elementary School. This study used the Pre-Experimental Design method using the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design design. While sampling uses random sampling. The study sample had 23 students using one class group and using data collection techniques, namely tests and observations. The analysis techniques used in this research are Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Hypothesis Test using the help of a data processing application, namely IBM Statistics SPSS version 23. The results of the research that have been carried out obtained the average pretest score in experiment I before learning using quizizz media is 58.26, and the average posttest obtained in experiment I is 78.26. While the average pretest score in experiment II was 58.26 and the average posttest obtained in experiment II was 82.61. The homogeneity analysis obtained the pretest of experimental class I and experiment II was 23.9 < 4.32 while the posttest of experimental class I and experiment II was 44.2 < 4.32. Analysis of the t-test hypothesis was obtained at (6.662 > 1.720) at a significant level a = 0.05. Therefore, tcalculate > ttable, it can be concluded that HI is accepted and HO is rejected. Where HI has an influence on the use of quizizz media on the learning outcomes of Class IV Social Studies of Perwira 01 North Bekasi State Elementary School and HO there is no influence of the use of quizizz media on the learning outcomes of Class IV Social Studies of Perwira 01 North Bekasi State Elementary School.
