Abstract
This research was motivated by the decline in attitudes, ethics and morals of students. The role of the Martia Bhakti High School institution is not only to create outstanding people, but also to have an Islamic spirit. Instilling Islamic character values applied at Martia Bhakti High School through habituation of activities to instill religious character values, charity, manners, and discipline for students. So with this, it makes students easy in the learning process.Internalization of Islamic character is a set of actions that manifest in behavior, traditions, daily habits practiced in the context of the school and in the community. This study aims to explain the process of internalizing Islamic character values in PAI learning at SMA Martia Bhakti, and knowing the Islamic character values internalized in the school environment. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection procedures are used using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the process of internalizing Islamic character values through religious habituation activities at Martia Bhakti High School to foster Islamic character in students has run well and uses its own strategy. The stages of habituation activities carried out by Martia Bhakti High School include activities in the classroom and outside the classroom including: 1) Reading the Qur'an juz 30 before learning takes place, 2) smiling, greeting, greeting, polite, and polite activities (5S), 3) Dhuhr and Asr prayer activities in congregation, 4) Mabit activities
