Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the government to respond with various policies to prevent the spread of the virus and overcome its impacts. In this context, Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance (BLT-DD) was implemented as a government strategy to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on society. The aim of this research is to understand how the BLT-DD policy is implemented in Karangbaru Village, identify obstacles to its implementation, and explore solutions to these obstacles. This research uses a qualitative method with a postpositivism approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of observations made by the author, it shows that the implementation of the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance policy in Karangbaru Village is generally successful, although there are several obstacles in its implementation, namely village officials who are still not optimal in conveying information regarding the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance policy, delays in distribution. village funds and the existence of people who are still not actively involved in digging up information about this policy. In conclusion, the implementation of the Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance Policy in Karangbaru Village is in accordance with existing regulations, but there are still several obstacles that make it less than optimal. This can be seen from the results of interviews with informants based on Edward III's theory, from communication there are still people who have not actively participated in exploring information regarding the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance policy. The resources of the Karangbaru village government apparatus are still not optimal in conveying information and internet facilities which results in delays in distribution. The disposition and structure of the bureaucracy is good enough to understand its duties and main functions. The suggestions given are the need for good communication, improving internet facilities.
