Abstract

Education has become an important aspect in people's lives in all corners of the world, including in Indonesia. The Ministry of Education and Culture-Ristek made a policy in the form of the Independent Learning Policy. Of the various existing MBKM programs, research focuses on the Independent Campus Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) program which aims to provide internship opportunities, as well as create a professional workforce and give students the opportunity to learn about the world of work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Independent Campus Learning Policy through the Certified Independent Study and Internship program. Researchers studied this by using a constructivism paradigm with qualitative research methods accompanied by a case study research approach. The data collection techniques include: observation, in-depth interviews, literature study, and documentation. The research results show that the MSIB Program has been implemented well, supported by the large number of students who are interested in taking part in the MSIB program, as well as facilities from partners and also the Directorate of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which successfully accommodates, coordinates and communicates with stakeholders. . The MSIB program is not yet completely smooth, there are several problems such as slow disbursement of Living Cost Assistance (BBH), and there are differences in assessment and certification standards between partners and universities.
