Abstract

The purpose of this study is to answer the formulation of the problem which includes: 1) How are teachers' efforts to improve PAI learning outcomes using the Team Quizz method. 2) What are the supports and obstacles so that learning is not optimal. This study seeks to determine teachers' efforts in improving PAI learning outcomes by applying the Team Quizz method. The research method used is a qualitative method, which is research that originates from a phenomenological view and seeks to understand the meaning of events and their relationships to the object of research. The research took place at Daar Assa Adatuddaaroin Junior High School. The data collection method in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are 1) In addition to learning motivation, one of the efforts so that learning takes place well and increases learning outcomes and student learning motivation, namely by using interesting and challenging learning methods with the use of the Team Quizz learning method, which is an active learning method in which students are divided into three teams to conduct quizzes by holding academic matches for each group as quiz guides. The application of the method has been carried out in sequence. Student learning outcomes in PAI subjects have been good. Judging from the effectiveness of students working together in groups, the ability of students to express opinions in groups, and answer questions correctly 2) There are several inhibiting factors in learning, one of which is in the use of learning methods so that learning outcomes are less than optimal
