Abstract
atural Sciences (IPA) is the study of the universe, which reveals everything related to the universe. This research is a literature study that examines and analyzes the results of previous studies. This type of research uses a qualitative approach where the data analysis process places more emphasis on concluding comparisons of literature reviews from several journals. This study intends to describe the application of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve learning outcomes in science subjects for elementary school students. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model could improve science learning outcomes in three aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This model emphasizes the activeness of students in learning the material. In the process learning is carried out actively, creatively, productively, through collaboration, direct experience of students, application of concepts and in pleasant situations. Therefore The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning outcomes in the science subject of motion energy for elementary school students
