Abstract

Moral issues must be the main character in every individual, to encourage all kinds of actions. This decline in morals is caused by various factors, not just the influence of foreign cultures. This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of moral education in preventing bullying cases at SMA Syarif Hidayatullah Bekasi. The results of this study are expected to add insight into knowledge in the world of education regarding the implementation of moral education in preventing cases of bullying in schools and can be used as a race to improve the moral quality of students. This research was carried out in March - June 2023 using a descriptive qualitative research method. Techniques in collecting data used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of research conducted at SMA Syarif Hidayatullah Bekasi on moral values ​​education in preventing bullying cases are quite intensive and effective. This can be proven from the results of observations in the field which show a positive role and commitment in forming knowledgeable students with high morals, through several moral practices through several activities and programs that are adapted to moral education in preventing cases of bullying in schools. The activities and programs are: Through teaching and learning activities by teachers, Noble Ahklak coaching which is then carried out for students, Outreach to students by conducting counseling and seminars as well as through activities or events at Syarif Hidayatullah High School Bekasi with good cooperation between teachers , educational staff and Student Council. The strategy for implementing moral education in preventing bullying behavior in SMA Syarif Hidayatullah Bekasi includes: Exemplary, Habituation, Advice, and Giving sanctions and punishments to students who commit moral education violations.
