Abstract

This study aims to obtain data and an overview of "The Influence of Running ABC Training on the Ability to Run 50 Meters in Beginner Athletes Age 11-14 Years". This research was conducted in the Assalaam Pasar Minggu Islamic Middle School Field for 1 month since the research began, namely on May 31 - June 30. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method to provide an overview of the data to be obtained from the research results. The implementation of this research was carried out in 16 meetings with 1 pre-test meeting, 14 running ABC training meetings and 1 post-test meeting.From the data collected from the results of this study, the researchers analyzed the effect of running ABC on the ability to run 50 meters in novice athletes. The sample used in this study were 15 students aged 11-14 years. The results showed that running ABC was able to provide a better change of 9.73% in the ability to run 50 meters compared to before doing the running ABC exercise.Based on the research results obtained, it is suggested that schools should be able to provide facilities and support training activities so that novice athletes can maximize their abilities and skills.
