Abstract

ABSTRACT Of the 17 sustainable development goals, one of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) that has received the most attention to date is poverty. Poverty is still a complex and major problem that needs to be addressed immediately. High social inequality due to uneven prosperity in Indonesia is the main cause of poverty. Compared to other social problems, the problem of poverty is the most prominent social problem. This is because all of the SDGs are a form of encouragement and effort to achieve the "no poverty" target. The purpose of this study is to analyze the achievements of the SDGs, social service strategies and public perceptions of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in tackling poverty in Bekasi City. This research paradigm uses the constructivism paradigm with qualitative research methods. Case study research design and data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the strategy of the Bekasi City Social Service in efforts to reduce poverty in the Family Hope Program (PKH) for beneficiaries in Bekasi City is sufficient to help reduce the burden of public expenditure. However, this program cannot be said to be fully on target, so that assistance has not been evenly distributed to all poor people in terms of reducing poverty and increasing income.
