Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the description of emotion regulation and bullying behavior, to find out the differences in bullying behavior between the experimental group and the control group, and to find out the differences in bullying behavior after being given emotional regulation training in the experimental group. This research is a quantitative research with experimental research methods. This study uses a quasi-experimental design, using a two-group pretest – posttest design. Respondents in this study were 44 class VIII students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The results obtained by testing the independent sample t test are known to be the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.013 <0.05 then Ha is accepted. Then in the second hypothesis test, namely the sample paired t test, the Asymp value is obtained. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. These results show that the p-value is less than alpha (0.000 <0.05), so there are differences before treatment and after treatment using emotion regulation training.
