Abstract

Rini Hanifah 41182911180061. The Relationship Between Literacy Habituation Methods With Student Learning Discipline (In Grade V and VI Mutiara Islami Plus Elementary School Serang New City). Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University “45” Bekasi. 1444 H/ 2023 M. This research is motivated by the existence of sveral students who have not realized the importance of discipline in learning, there are some behaviors that lack discipline in learning such as not doing assignments, arriving not on time, not carrying out pickets according to schedule and there are still some students who litter around the school environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between literacy habituation methods with students learning discipline at Mutiara Islami Plus Elementary School Serang New City. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits for every reader, especially in the world of education. The research method used is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population used is class V and VI Mutiara Islami Plus Elementary School Serang New City as many 180 students with a sample using the Random Sampling Technique. The formula used is the Slovin formula abtained by 65 students. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between literacy habituation methods with student learning discipline. This is kown through the acquisition of the Pearson Correlation result obtained with value of 0.618 which means a strong correlation with a significant value of 0.000 which means it is smaller than the 0.05 significance level that there is a correlation so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
