Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Group Investigation (GI) model as a solution to improve science learning outcomes for elementary school students. The source of data used in this research is research journals or scientific articles related to science learning outcomes using the Group Investigation (GI) model. The type of research method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review, research is conducted by collecting data using research journals or scientific articles related to the required research variables. The analysis that has been carried out from several research journals explains that the application of the Group Investigation (GI) model is a solution to improve science learning outcomes for elementary school students. Based on the analysis of eleven scientific articles, it shows that the Group Investigation (GI) model is very effective for science learning outcomes for elementary school students. In the study material, the average research subject was upper grade elementary school students (grades IV and V). The Group Investigation (GI) model can create student creativity for learning, so as to create a comfortable, active, and creative classroom atmosphere that can be used effectively in science learning. Then, indicators of science learning outcomes consist of cognitive, affective, & psychomotor aspects. With the Group Investigation (GI) model, it is believed that students are able to remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create.
