Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing total quality management which is presented in 2 basic pillars namely, employee empowerment and continuous improvement on operational performance at the Bekasi 17000 Post Office. The research sample used was 80 employees and the sample was taken using a purposive sampling method. The data collection technique in this research is by distributing questionnaires online using the Googleform platform. Then, the data that has been collected will be processed using the SPSS 25 program. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression, classical assumptions and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, the implementation of total quality management has proven to have a positive effect on operational performance. The variables of employee empowerment and continuous improvement in total quality management are proven to have a significant positive effect on operational performance.
