Abstract
Women in horror films are usually depicted as unable to fight against male power, but in contrast to the film Jennifer's Body, which presents a female main character who can resist male power. This study aims to show the form of female resistance in the film Jennifer's Body. This study uses James C Scott's theory of resistance and Rosemary Tong's theory of feminism to see how resistance is seen through the lens of feminism contained in the film by using visual analysis research methods. The results of this study indicate that the film Jennifer's Body has a form of open resistance and closed resistance in its scenes. It also shows how the stereotype of women cannot fight against the power of men is broken. So that the results of the resistance carried out by the female characters in this film make a change in the position of men from dominant to non-dominant figures
