Abstract

ABSTRACT Implementation of the Oversight Function of the Village Consultative Body on the Performance of the Village Head in Muktiwari Village, Cibitung District, Bekasi Regency EPI SARAH 41183506170077 evisarah807@gmail.com This study aims to clearly determine whether the implementation of the oversight function of the village consultative body (BPD) on the performance of village heads in Muktiwari village, Cibitung sub-district, Bekasi district has not been carried out optimally. The purpose and usefulness of this research is to determine the Implementation of the Oversight Function of the Village Consultative Body in Muktiwari Village, Cibitung District. As well as knowing the obstacles faced by the Muktiwari Village apparatus in Supervising the Village Consultative Body. Identify the efforts made by the Muktiwari Village apparatus in overcoming obstacles. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data source comes from primary data sources, namely the results of interviews with members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) whose job is to oversee the performance of village heads. Secondary data sources are books, literature, laws and regulations, reports, archives, and from the internet. Based on the research results, it is known that the implementation of the oversight function of the Village Consultative Body in Muktiwari Village, Cibitung District, Bekasi Regency. This study uses the theory of supervision from Robbins and Coulter in Satriadi which states that there are 4 variables that influence the implementation of supervision, namely setting measurement standards, comparing and taking action. which is determined. the obstacles faced were the lack of socialization carried out by members of the Village Consultative Council, there were still differences of opinion because there were still 2 camps that differed in understanding and there were still people and village apparatus who did not clearly know the main tasks of the Village Consultative Council. one of the efforts made is to maximize socialization. The effort made with these obstacles is to socialize to the community as well as people who still have different opinions because there are still 2 factions that have disagreements and village officials who do not understand the duties of the Village Consultative Body. In this case the aim is to increase progress in the village of Muktiwari, such as infrastructure development so that it is in accordance with the applicable standard operating procedures.
