Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic causes changes that can cause new problems ranging from health, economic and social, these changes are very fast and unpredictable, and can cause turmoil in society. The entry of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Indonesia contributed to the changes that occurred. In facing this situation of uncertainty, what is the role of the Bekasi City government in handling and controlling the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) by using the principles contained in the concept of Agile Governance. The methodology in this research is qualitative using a case study approach, and the paradigm used to examine the problems in this research is to use the constructivism paradigm. Data collection techniques in this study include: observation, in-depth interviews, literature study, and documentation. In facing this situation of uncertainty, what is the role of the Bekasi City government in handling and controlling the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) by using the principles contained in the concept of Agile Governance. The methodology in this research is qualitative using a case study approach, and the paradigm used to examine the problems in this research is to use the constructivism paradigm. The purpose of this study is to analyze Agile Governance in handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Bekasi City, and find out the obstacles/obstacles faced in handling Covid-19 in Bekasi City with the concept of Agile Governance. The results of the study showed that the communication carried out by the Bekasi City Government in handling Covid-19 was not optimal, as in:1. Collaboration at the village and sub-district levels did not work, 2. Socialization did not use a guideline structure, 3, There were no teaching aids in socialization to the public regarding Covid-19 information, 4. RT and RW are not involved in handling Covid-19 at the sub-district level, 5. The Bekasi City Government is not agile in handling Covid-19 from the perspective of Agile Governance principles.
