Abstract

ABSTRACT Siti Romlah Nur Zain, 41182911180124. The Effect of Outdoor Learning to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Islamic Studies Subject Class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Setu. This research was conducted to obtain information about the effect of outdoor learning to improve student learning outcomes in class XI. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Setu in August. This research method uses the Quasi Experiment method with a research sample of 30 students for class XI Experiment and 30 students for class XI control. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the research instrument used was a test (pretest & posttest) which consisted of 20 questions and documentation. while the data analysis technique used in this study was the t-test. The results of this study can show that Outdoor Learning which is applied to the experimental class has a significant influence on student learning outcomes in PAI learning. This can be proven from the description of the pretest data in the experimental class, which before outdoor learning was carried out, the mean value of class XI was 73.50, and the control class was class XI 65.80, but after being given posttest treatment with Outdoor Learning, the experimental class got a mean value of 89.00. And the control class is 76.80. While the results of data analysis with the paired sample test, the results obtained are tcount > ttable (17,095 > 0,312), while conventional learning obtains tcount > ttable (6,802 > 0,312). From the results of these data, there are differences in the average results of the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class and the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on outdoor learning on student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Setu. Keywords: Outdoor Learning, Student Learning Outcomes
