Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Machine Maintenance Costs and Quality Costs on Production Productivity. The population of this study consists of the financial reports of PT XYZ. This research employs a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample comprises 36 financial reports of PT XYZ. The data used are secondary data obtained from the company. The data analysis method applied is multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions version 26 (SPSS 26) software. The results indicate that, simultaneously, machine maintenance costs and quality costs have a positive and significant effect on production productivity. Partially, machine maintenance costs have no significant effect on production productivity, while quality costs have a negative and significant effect on production productivity. The coefficient of determination shows an R-square value of 26.3%, indicating that 26.3% of the variation in the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining 73.7% is explained by other variables not included in this study.
