Abstract

The phenomenon of the increasing number of career mothers raises questions about how they manage their time and resources to remain optimal in instilling moral values in their children. Moral education, as the foundation for the formation of individual character and morality, is becoming increasingly important amidst the complexity of social and moral challenges faced by the younger generation. However, with the limited time and energy often experienced by career mothers due to work demands, concerns arise about how they can effectively instill noble moral values in their children. This qualitative study aims to describe in depth the role of career mothers in children's moral education in Srimukti Village, Tambun Utara District. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with career mothers who have children of elementary or secondary school age, as well as observations of mother and child interactions in the household context (if possible). Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the findings and results of the data analysis conducted by the author, it can be concluded that: 1. The Role of Career Mothers in Children's Moral Education in Srimukti Village, Tambun Utara District, including: a) Educators, namely by providing direction and basic knowledge about moral values to children, both directly and through daily examples. b) Motivators, namely providing enthusiasm and positive encouragement to children. c) Mentors, where mothers continue to direct and accompany. d) Role models, namely mothers become real examples in speaking, behaving, and acting according to Islamic teachings so that children imitate and make them role models. 2. Efforts of Career Mothers in Children's Moral Education in Srimukti Village, Tambun Utara District are carried out through various spiritual and moral strategies, including: a) Teaching Faith and Tawhid, such as introducing Allah SWT from an early age, teaching the shahada, and strengthening children's faith. b) Teaching Worship, such as guiding children in prayer, reading the Qur'an, and getting used to praying in everyday life. c) Teaching Ethics and Morals, namely instilling values of politeness, respect for parents and teachers, honesty. d) Building Communication Patterns, carried out effectively and warmly so that children feel comfortable, heard, and more open..
