Abstract

This study presents the design and development of a semi-automatic ice cream machine with a 10-liter capacity to improve the efficiency of traditional ice cream (es puter) production, which is typically performed manually. The machine was designed using Autodesk Inventor 2014 and consists of a main frame, electric motor, ice cream container, ice–salt cooling container, rotating shaft, and temperature gauge. The cooling system utilizes a mixture of ice and salt, capable of reaching temperatures between –5°C and –8°C to achieve optimal ice cream texture. Test results show that the machine operates stably and significantly reduces processing time compared to manual methods. Overall, the semi-automatic machine is effective and has strong potential to support small businesses in increasing production capacity and consistency.
