Abstract

Agatho Organic Farm (AOF) is an organic farming enterprise located in Bogor Regency, established in 1984, with pakcoy as one of its main commodities. Pakcoy production is not free from risks that may reduce yield and income, thus requiring proper risk management. This study aims to identify sources of production risk, analyze their impacts, examine the relationship between production risk and farm income, and determine effective risk management strategies. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with Value at Risk (VaR), Z-Score, consequence and likelihood criteria, risk matrix, and Spearman’s Rank correlation analysis. The results show three main sources of production risk: extreme weather (very high risk, loss of Rp814.512), pests and diseases (high risk, Rp441.389), and worker negligence (moderate risk, Rp273.578). A very strong negative correlation was found between production risk and farm income. The most effective strategy is a combination of risk mitigation and adaptation, with priority on handling extreme weather risks.
