Abstract
Beef cattle farming is a business carried out in a certain place or in a sustainable cultivation area to produce beef cattle, meat, and by-products. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Farming Practice (GFP) in a case study of a beef cattle fattening business. The research method used is an evaluative method to assess the implementation of Good Farming Practice while data analysis uses descriptive analysis with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The assessment is carried out on five main aspects of Good Farming Practice, namely: (1) facilities and infrastructure, (2) care patterns, (3) animal health, (4) environmental protection, and (5) human resources. The analysis was carried out based on the assessment guidelines from the Director General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health in 2020. The results of the study indicate that the level of GFP implementation at BBS Farm is in the very good category (Level I) with an overall average value reaching 87,53%. The environmental preservation aspect received the highest score, namely 100%, followed by the animal health aspect at 90%, the maintenance pattern aspect at 87,17%, the infrastructure and facilities aspect at 85,52%, and the human resources aspect at 75%.
