Abstract

In maintaining ornamental fish requires various conditions so that the survival of the fish can be maintained and maintained properly. But often fish owners do not have time to pay attention to the condition of a dirty aquarium that can cause disease in fish, because fungi and bacteria will breed if the water quality is not maintained properly. The water quality of goldfish is based on the ideal water TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) value below 250ppm and the ideal temperature between 25.7°-29.7°. The design of the aquarium is made to simplify the control system on the tool. the structure of the aquarium design there is a microcontroller component (Wemos) which is equipped with a temperature sensor (DS18B20) and a TDS sensor (Total Dissolved Solid) which will monitor the value of the water and then receive it to the user, which then the user can perform on/off commands on the pump and heaters. The remote control system for TDS and temperature in goldfish aquariums is designed and built as a tool to facilitate aquarium maintenance which consists of monitoring water temperature and TDS values that can be accessed via a wifi network through the blynk application and can change water values easily. From the test results of the device that has been designed, it shows that the tool is able to detect the TDS value of water with an average of 4.13% with the largest error value of 8.7%, and the water temperature value of 5.2% with the largest value of 7.5%. if the average error value on the sensor is smaller by comparing it to a measuring instrument, the level of accuracy of the data on the sensor is fairly good as a reference in carrying out maintenance on goldfish aquariums. The interface system in the blynk application was successfully created by displaying sensor value data, then displaying LED notifications as a reference for data limits, namely for water TDS below 250ppm and water temperature above 26.7℃ and activating the pump and heater which can be done directly through a personal device with a wifi network.
