Abstract

"Survey of Student Motivation in Participating in Physical Education Learning for Eighth Grade Junior High School Students in Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency." Thesis Proposal. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University "45" Bekasi. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation of eighth grade students in participating in physical education learning in state junior high schools in Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency. This research was a descriptive study using a survey method with a questionnaire as the data collection technique. The subjects in this study were 86 eighth grade students, with data analysis using quantitative analysis presented in percentage form. The results of the study on students of SMP Negeri 1 Tambelang showed motivation in the high category, namely 24 students or 75%, 5 students or around 13% in the medium category, 5 students or around 12% in the low category. Indicating that the indicators of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation grew very strongly. In SMP Negeri 2 Tambelang students showed motivation in the medium category, namely 13 students or around 41% in the high category, 17 students or around 52% in the medium category, 3 students or around 7% in the low category. This indicates that the motivation indicators, both intrinsically and extrinsically, are relatively stable but still require additional stimulus. In SMP Negeri Satu Atap Tambelang students showed moderate motivation, namely 4 students or around 21% in the high category, 10 students or around 53% in the medium category, 5 students or around 26% in the low category. This condition indicates that motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, has been formed stably but has not yet reached the optimal stage.
