Abstract

Land Spinach (Ipomea reptans poir) is a short-lived seasonal vegetable plant that is very popular among Indonesians, so the opportunity for Land spinach farming is growing rapidly. This study aims to analyze farming businesses, understand marketing channels, and determine the efficiency of Land spinach trading in Kedungjaya Village, Babelan District. The research method used is a survey method while data analysis uses descriptive analysis, as well as quantitative analysis that includes analysis of trading efficiency and farmer's share analysis. The results of the study show that the average income per farmer per month is IDR 2,628,977.00 with an average profit per hectare per farmer per month of IDR 453,859.00. The BEP production obtained is 10,672 bundles and the BEP price is IDR 374/bunch of Land spinach. The R/C value is 1.94, which means that the Land spinach business is feasible to run. There are three Land spinach trading channels in Kedungjaya Village, and the most efficient channel is trading channel III, namely Farmers - Collectors – Consumers.
