Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between students' knowledge of fiqh of prayer and their practice of prayer worship at SMAI Taman Harapan 1 Bekasi. The study employs a quantitative correlational method with a population of class XI students at SMAI Taman Harapan 1 Bekasi, and a sample of 52 students selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a fiqh of prayer knowledge test instrument and a prayer practice questionnaire, both validated for validity and reliability, and analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation test assisted by SPSS version 27. The research results show a correlation value of 0.590 with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant relationship between knowledge of fiqh of prayer and students' practice of prayer worship. The coefficient of determination of 0.348 means that fiqh knowledge contributes 34.8% to prayer practice, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. Thus, the higher the students' knowledge of fiqh of prayer, the stronger their practice of prayer worship. These findings reinforce the importance of effective fiqh learning in efforts to continuously and consistently improve students' worship quality.
