Abstract

The role of the Village Government in the Development of Our Village Tourism in Kertarahayu Village, Setu District, Bekasi Regency has been running optimally and quite well. This research uses a Qualitative Method, a method based on philosophy that uses data collection techniques, interviews, and literature studies using analysis according to Sugiyono (2018:213). This study uses the Tourism Village Theory according to Nuryanti, a tourism village is a combination of attractions, accommodations, and supporting facilities with a pattern of community life that is integrated with the prevailing procedures and traditions so that it makes the village a tourist destination. The results of this study indicate that a) the Attraction indicator has been running quite well, the tourist attractions of Kampoeng Kita, Taman for the elderly that can be seen such as: elderly park, flying fox, traditional Sundanese Betawi restaurant, swimming pool, gazebo villa etc. b) The Accommodation indicator is quite optimal, Gradual development in the development of Kampoeng Kita, Taman for the elderly tourism continues to be carried out, the aim is to improve the welfare of the Kertarahayu village community, the promotion level is running well and Kampoeng Kita, Taman for the elderly tourism still preserves the traditional babarit tradition every year. c) Supporting Facilities Indicators, facilities and infrastructure in our village tourism, elderly park, have been running optimally, maintenance of facilities and infrastructure is quite good, our village tourism has succeeded in attracting visitors' interest in maintaining facilities and infrastructure by always caring for and maintaining them, to maintain them together, regulations or policies are made by the village head and managers with the aim of mutual interests and comfort. Village government facilities are optimal, road access to our village tourism, elderly park, is not damaged, and the village government collaborates with the managers and heads of tourism awareness groups in developing our village tourism by always holding discussions. The obstacles to our village tourism are still the lack of human resources in the community who do not understand about tourism, the budget and costs for developing our village tourism, elderly park are limited and there is no transportation accessibility to the tourism provided by our village tourism, elderly park.
