Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Civic Education, Pancasila material, using the picture and picture method in grade I, semester 2 of the 2024/2025 academic year. This research method used classroom action research that applied the picture and picture method. The study was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle had two meetings, with 34 students as research subjects. Data were collected through pretests and evaluations at the end of each cycle as well as observation sheets for teaching and learning activities. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge in grade I students of SDN BINTARA IV BEKASI BARAT. This is evidenced by the average results of the Civic Education subject evaluation in each cycle increasing, namely in cycle I by 44% and cycle II by 85%. As for learning outcomes with indicators of memory, understanding, applying, analyzing, and evaluation, namely based on the results of observations conducted, it was concluded that students really liked the picture and picture method which can improve student learning outcomes by 41% in the subject of Citizenship Education.
