Abstract

Diah Lestari, 41182941180003, ISLAMIC LAW ANALYSIS ON THE ROLE OF PARENTAL INTERVENTION IN CHILDREN'S HOUSEHOLDS (Case study in Kelurahan, Kaliabang Tengah, North Bekasi District, Bekasi City), Ahwal AlSyakhshiyyah Study Program, Islamic University 45 Bekasi, 2025. This research is motivated by the existence of parental intervention in children's households. One of the problems that often arises in situations of living with in-laws is financial problems, division of roles and responsibilities and differences in views on raising children can trigger disharmony in the family. Therefore, the researcher wants to examine more deeply the extent to which Islamic law assesses parental intervention in children's households. This study takes objects from married couples who live with the husband's parents. This study uses qualitative descriptive research. This research method uses Interviews in Kaliabang Tengah Village, North Bekasi District, Jalan Pondok Ungu Permai RT/RW 07/05 No. 19. The results of the study indicate that there is parental intervention in the form of parenting patterns, lifestyle patterns, personal affairs of couples and finances. The conclusion of this study is seen from the perspective of Islamic law, Islamic provisions allow parental intervention in their children's households only to the extent of providing guidance and advice to the child's family. So that Islamic law does not rule out the possibility of the validity of parental intervention in the child's family as long as it does not damage the husband and wife relationship.
