Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of podcasts on information consumption behavior among Generation Z through a qualitative approach. With the rapid development of technology and digital media, podcasts have become one of the primary choices for Generation Z in accessing information. This research method involved in-depth interviews with five respondents from various backgrounds to explore their experiences and perspectives regarding podcast usage.The results are expected to demonstrate that podcasts provide flexible access to information, allowing listeners to consume content anytime and anywhere. The informants expressed interest in the informative and entertaining format, as well as the podcast's ability to present diverse guests and unique perspectives. Additionally, podcasts play a role in shaping opinions and increasing awareness of social issues relevant to Generation Z.
