Abstract

Ridwan Ramadhan. 41182933180026. “Analisis Minat Mahasiswa Yang Berprofesi Sebagai Driver Online Terhadap Bank Syariah”. Prodi Perbankan Syariah. Universitas Islam “45” Bekasi. 1446 H/2025 M. 90 Halaman Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat mahasiswa Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi yang berprofesi sebagai driver online terhadap penggunaan layanan bank syariah, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu sebagai driver online untuk mencukupi kebutuhan ekonomi, di tengah berkembangnya industri perbankan syariah yang menawarkan sistem keuangan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Meskipun secara prinsip para mahasiswa memahami dan mendukung konsep keuangan syariah, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat mereka terhadap penggunaan bank syariah masih rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terhadap sejumlah informan yang dipilih secara purposive, yaitu mahasiswa aktif yang bekerja sebagai driver online. Hasil analisis tematik menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya minat terhadap bank syariah disebabkan oleh kendala teknis, terutama karena aplikasi ojek online yang mereka gunakan tidak menyediakan opsi rekening bank syariah untuk penarikan pendapatan. Sehingga mahasiswa-driver online lebih memilih menggunakan rekening yang kompatibel langsung dengan sistem tersebut demi efisiensi waktu dan kemudahan proses transaksi. Dengan demikian, meskipun ada kecocokan ideologis terhadap prinsip-prinsip bank syariah, hal itu tidak cukup kuat untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku finansial jika tidak didukung oleh kemudahan akses dan integrasi sistem digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya kerja sama strategis antara bank syariah dan platform aplikasi ojek online agar bank syariah dapat menjangkau segmen pasar mahasiswa pekerja dengan lebih efektif. Islamic Banking Study Program. “45” Islamic University of Bekasi. 1446 H/2025 M. 90 Pages This study aims to analyze the interests of students of the 45 Islamic University of Bekasi who work as online drivers towards the use of Islamic banking services, using a descriptive qualitative approach. The background of this study departs from the phenomenon of the increasing number of students working part-time as online drivers to meet economic needs, amidst the development of the Islamic banking industry that offers a financial system based on Islamic values. Although in principle the students understand and support the concept of Islamic finance, the research findings show that their interest in using Islamic banks is still low. Data were collected through interviews with a number of purposively selected informants, namely active students who work as online drivers. The results of thematic analysis show that the low interest in Islamic banks is caused by technical constraints, especially because the online motorcycle taxi application they use does not provide an Islamic bank account option for income withdrawals. So that online student drivers prefer to use accounts that are directly compatible with the system for time efficiency and ease of transaction processes. Thus, although there is an ideological match for the principles of Islamic banks, it is not strong enough to encourage changes in financial behavior if it is not supported by easy access and integration of digital systems. This study recommends strategic cooperation between Islamic banks and online motorcycle taxi application platforms so that Islamic banks can reach the student worker market segment more effectively.
