Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of self-esteem and metacognition on individuals’ career adaptability. Self-esteem refers to the positive or negative perception that individuals hold about their own self-worth, while metacognition refers to individuals’ understanding of their thinking processes and cognitive regulation. Both factors are believed to play a role in shaping individuals’ ability to adapt to changes in the workplace. The research method employed in this study was a survey method using a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The respondents of this study were students from Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. Data analysis was conducted using regression techniques to evaluate the relationship between self-esteem, metacognition, and career adaptability. The results of this study revealed a relationship between metacognition and self-esteem on the career adaptability of students at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi.
