Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of Mosque Youth to Contribute to Helping Teach Religious Education in Bekasi Elok II Housing. This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of Religion among Teenagers and Bad Socializing in the Housing Environment. In addition, many assume that joining a mosque youth organization is boring and joining an organization is only for pious people, therefore in trying something, it must be studied in depth and found out how the activity works. The method used in this study is the Qualitative Naturalistic approach, namely research that is based on a phenomenological perspective and tries to understand the meaning of events and their relationship to the object of research. Research that does not use calculations. Or termed scientific research that emphasizes the scientific character of data sources. The results of this study indicate that the role of mosque youth is very much needed to change bad habits into good habits that usually just gather and play games with the presence of mosque youth, teenagers who do the above habits in the future can gather with positive activities and help the mosque DKM in the program of inviting goodness and instilling Islam since adolescence. In its implementation, mosque youth do not run a program alone but there are mentors from DKM to teach and educate teenagers to always show positive things. Teenagers feel happy and enthusiastic in joining the mosque youth organization which is shown by the activeness of teenagers in asking questions in the forum of the association held by DKM.
