Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, growth opportunity, and firm size on hedging decisions in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research method used a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with predetermined criteria with a total of 32 samples used. This study used secondary data taken directly from the official IDX website and the Company's official website, then processed using SPSS software version 25 using logistic regression. The results of the test in this study can be seen from the descriptive statistical analysis that shows an overview of the research sample variables. Furthermore, a logistic regression test was carried out to show whether the probability of the dependent variable can be predicted by the independent variable. The results of the logistic regression test showed that the liquidity variable had an effect on hedging decisions, leverage had no effect on hedging decisions, growth opportunity had no effect on hedging decisions, and the firm size variable had an effect on hedging decisions.
