Abstract
This study discusses the design and manufacture of a semi-automatic plate shear machine that uses a motor drive as the main drive. This machine is designed to cut metal plates with a maximum thickness of 1 mm more efficiently and precisely than manual methods. The design and construction process includes design, selection of components such as motors, pulley, gearboxes, and control panels. The test results show that the machine is able to work stably and produce neat cuts, making it suitable for use in small and medium industries.
