Nurhelmi. 41182911180095. IMPLEMENTATION OF MORAL EDUCATION TO IMPROVE CHILDREN INDEPENDENCE IN A FAMILY TRADERS ENVIRONMENT (Case Study of Traders in Pasar Baru Kranji. Bekasi City). Islamic religious education, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Islamic University 45 Bekasi, (1446/2024). (94 pages +16 pages ) The phenomenon that occurs, the increasing cost of living has an impact on many parents who are busy earning a living, including the family environment of traders in Pasar Baru Kranji, Bekasi City who are busy trading to meet their living needs. The impact of the lack of religious education is very much, including the sense of devotion of children to their parents or respect for their elders is very minimal. In fact, the deviations commited by children today tend to be more due to the lack of parental awareness of child development. The approach in his study uses qualitative research. This type of research was conducted on traders in Pasar Baru Kranji, Bekasi City which was carried out in August 2024 - September 2024 using a descriptive qualitative research method. The thenique used is through three stages, namely , data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the findings and result of the data analysis conducted by the author , it can be concluded that: 1.) the implementation of moral education is known that parents have made maximum efforts to carry out their roles in fostering moral education. The steps taken in implementing moral education include moral education carried out through role models, habits, with advice and with attention and supervision. In addition to moral education carried out at home (family), parents also provide education outside the home such as sending them to school and telling them to study the Koran at TPA. 2.) Based on the findings of the study , the values of moral education in creasing children’s independence include : in terms of worship practices such as being able to practice ablution, prayer practices , fasting and other worship based on the values of moral education. Children also have independence in terms of emotions which are shown by the child’s ability to control and not depend on the emotional needs of their parents.
