Abstract

Dengue fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus that is spread by mosquitoes as a vector. The mosquito species that vector the disease are Aedes aegyptii and Aedes albopictusi (Ministry of Health RI). WHO estimates that 390 million people (confidence interval: 284-528 million) are infected with dengue fever each year, and 96 million (67-136 million) of them have clinical symptoms (WHO, 2018). The purpose of this study was to determine the physical environmental factors and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior that impact the incidence of DHF in Teluk Pucung Village. The research design used was descriptive quantitative research with univariate methods with a total of 50 respondents determined based on purposive sampling. The results showed that the physical environment factors that are factors in the incidence of DHF in Teluk Pucung Village, humidity, lighting, drainage distance and drainage flow have 50 frequencies that meet the requirements. The PHBS factors that are not good in carrying out activities to prevent and eradicate DHF are the activities of sprinkling larvicides in water reservoirs, keeping fish in water reservoirs, planting anti-mosquito plants, using mosquito nets when sleeping, reusing used goods, and never fogging, and spatial analysis on each indicator of environmental factors has a clustered distribution pattern.  Keywords : DHF, Physical Environmental, PHBS
