Abstract

Students who possess self-efficacy and strong peer social support are more likely to experience academic Flow during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of self-efficacy and peer social support on academic Flow among high school students. This research is a correlational quantitative study using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically proportional stratified random sampling. The research subjects consisted of 247 tenth and eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 17 Kota Bekasi. The data collection methods used were the self-efficacy scale, peer social support scale, and academic Flow scale. The results of the Spearman’s rho rank correlation test showed that the correlation coefficient between self-efficacy and academic Flow was 0.993 with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), and the correlation coefficient between peer social support and academic Flow was 0.999 with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Based on these two correlation tests, it can be concluded that both variables have a significant relationship with academic Flow. Keywords: self-efficacy, peer social support, academic Flow
