Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of peer conformity on academic dishonesty and the influence of self-efficacy on academic dishonesty. This research is a quantitative correlational study using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically proportional stratified random sampling. The subjects of this study consisted of 253 tenth and eleventh grade students at SMKS Pusat Keunggulan Tridaya Bekasi. Data collection methods included the Academic Dishonesty Scale (ADS) with a reliability of 0.965, the Peer Conformity Scale with a reliability of 0.970, and the Generality Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) with a reliability of 0.991. The results of the correlation test showed that there is a relationship between peer conformity and academic dishonesty, with a correlation coefficient of 0.235 and a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). Additionally, for self-efficacy and academic dishonesty, the correlation coefficient was -0.133 with a p-value of 0.034 (p<0.05). Based on the results of both correlation tests, it can be concluded that both variables have a significant relationship with academic dishonesty. Peer conformity contributes 3.3% to academic dishonesty, while the remaining 96.7% is influenced by other factors. Self-efficacy contributes 2.7% to academic dishonesty, while the remaining 97.3% is influenced by other factors.
