Abstract
Final semester students often have a heavy task load. Therefore, emotional intelligence and self-disclosure in final semester students are needed to regulate academic stress. This research design is a correlational approach with 392 subjects who are preparing on a thesis at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. Data collection methods using interviews and psychological scale. Educational Stress Scale for Adolescent (ESSA) scale with a reliability of 0,841, emotional intelligence scale with a reliability of 0,943, and self-disclosure scale with a reliability of 0,907. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a positive connection that was not strong and insignificant between emotional intelligence and academic stress with a value of r = 0,021; p>0,05. Furthermore, there is a positive connection that is not strong between self-disclosure and academic stress occurs significantly with a value of r = 0,117; p <0,05. The conclusion of this study is that emotional intelligence and self-disclosure are able to reveal 6.2% of academic stress.
