Abstract

Bekasi Regency is one of the areas that is developing very rapidly. The MT Haryono Road section is one of the roads that often experiences congestion, especially during morning and evening rush hours, with a road width of 5 meters and a 2/2 UD lane type. Congestion occurs due to vehicles entering and leaving the market and public vehicles stopping on the side of the road, industrial activities and shops along the road. Research data in the form of vehicle volume, side obstacles, population data for Bekasi Regency in 2023, and road geometry. Analysis of the MT Haryono Setu highway section using or referring to the 1997 mkji calculation for urban roads. The results of this research analysis show that the highest vehicle volume on the Setu highway from west to east is the highest at 1,301.50 pcu/hour while the east to west direction is 1,108.50 pcu/hour. The performance results of the west to east road section with a DS value of 1.69 with dense LOS criteria F, while the east to west direction DS value of 1.38 with dense LOS criteria F. For performance planning for the (five) to come that the volume of vehicles increased by 30% with a west to east ds value of 1.69 entering the dense LOS category with criteria F, while the east to west ds value of 1.38 enters. Thus the results of the analysis indicate that the Setu highway experiences congestion during peak hours, especially in the morning and evening.
