Abstract

Safera Janata Gustia (41183403180078) The Effect of Carbon Emission Disclosure and Environmental Costs on Firm Value xiv + 92 pages + 14 tables + 1 figure + 7 attachments Keywords: Carbon Emission Disclosure; Environmental Costs; Firm Value This study aims to determine the effect of Carbon Emission Disclosure and Environmental Costs on Firm Value in basic material sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample used in this research was selected using a purposive sampling method. Based on this selection, a total of 114 samples were obtained from 38 basic materials sector companies listed on the IDX during the 2021–2023 period. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, and data processing was conducted using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) software version 25.0. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the variables of Carbon Emission Disclosure and Environmental Costs have a positive and significant effect on Firm Value. So the implication of this study is that companies should continue to implement carbon emission disclosure and intensively carry out environmental financing in sustainability reports with the aim of getting a positive image among investors and the public.
