Abstract

BUMDes is a business entity established by the village government based on the needs and local potential of the village. BUMDes is the only hope for the village community to be able to advance the village economy. This study describes the management and obstacles and efforts experienced by BUMDes Berkah Sakabeh in Cicau Village, Cikarang Pusat District, Bekasi Regency. The management model used in this study is the BUMDes Kamaroesid Management Model, with 6 (six) variables, namely: (a) Cooperative; (b) Participatory; (c) Emancipatory; (d) Transparent; (e) Accountable; and (f) Sustainable. This study establishes a case study research design with research that focuses on one selected fact and tries to be understood as a whole by ignoring other facts. Qualitative research requires careful planning to select locations and participants and start data collection. So it can be concluded that the results of this study found that BUMDes Berkah Sakabeh is trying to build an activity process at the BUMDes. The reason is that the activities that existed in 2019 had to be stopped due to the Pandemic at that time.
