Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of elementary school students in Mathematics. From 12 journal findings, there are factors that cause low learning outcomes, mostly due to the lack of teacher insight into the application of learning methods. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to apply the Discovery Learning learning method. One of the learning methods that has been proven to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the Analysis of the Discovery Learning Method on Learning Outcomes in Elementary School Students' Mathematics Lessons. The methodology used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Literature review studies are methods used to collect data or sources related to a particular topic that can be obtained from various sources such as journals, books, the internet, and other libraries. The data sources used in this study are research journals or scientific articles related to Mathematics learning outcomes with the Discovery Learning Method. There is an effective influence and a significant difference in learning outcomes for students who take part in learning using the Discovery Learning Method, namely by showing an increase from cycle I to cycle II, a difference in learning outcomes in classes that use the Discovery Learning learning method with classes that do not use it, and the N-gain value shows an increase in student learning outcomes with a relatively high value. This is proven by the results of previous reference studies showing that the learning outcome indicators for the cognitive domain of Mathematics subjects in elementary school students increased due to the application of the Discovery Learning Method.
