Abstract
Empowerment is a series of activities to strengthen individuals or weak groups in society, including individuals or groups in society who experience poverty. Empowerment refers to the state or results that are desired to be achieved by a social change, namely an empowered society, having power or knowledge and ability to meet better living needs. Zakat funds have a very large role in many things, especially micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to help small business actors overcome problems such as lack of capital, facilities and so on. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the dominant economic actors in the business world, have a very important potential position and role. However, they have obstacles such as limited skills and knowledge and the difficulty of getting access to capital, their businesses are difficult to develop. The answer to the inhibiting factors in the development of MSMEs is to implement the MSME zakat fund empowerment program at the LAZISMU service office, Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City. The research method used in compiling this thesis is using the Quantitative method with Wilcoxon Test Analysis. As for the results of this study, the researcher made a conclusion from one of the zakat fund management institutions for empowerment, namely the LAZISMU service office in Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City with the main target being micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) selling food and beverages in the Community Economic Empowerment Program (PPEU).
