Abstract
Stunting is a long-standing problem of child malnutrition. Mothers with an age range of 14-15 years have a greater potential for stunting in their children. The high rate of stunting can be influenced by the mother's literacy skills or the form of parenting. This community service programme aims to increase understanding of the importance of preventing stunting early on in pregnant women and mothers with children under five in Sukamukti Village, Bojongmangu. This activity was attended by 15 mothers with children under five and 10 pregnant women. The service method uses community education by direct observation and socialisation with the village secretary, cadres and midwives in Sukamukti Village. Through three stages, namely, pre-test, psychoeducation, evaluation in the form of a post-test. There are final results, namely, before conducting psychoeducation has an understanding of 56% and after psychoeducation has an increase of 28%. So that after the evaluation the results were 84%. Psychoeducation is said to be successful, to provide awareness and prevent stunting in mothers with toddlers and pregnant women and pregnant women in Sukamukti Village.
