Abstract

A forklift is a lifting and transporting device to lift heavy objects from one place to another. Forklifts have a rear axle that functions as a rear wheel balancer, namely the rear axle also has a tie rod linkage which functions as part of the steering system mechanism. This study is to determine the comparison of vibration and noise in bushings that occur in forklift wheel ash by using vibration meter and sound level vibration measurement tools to determine the vibration and noise values in needle roller bearings, bronze bushings and nylon bushings. The results of the analysis of the test piece on the vibration and noise on the forklift wheel ash are still in substandard condition, namely the vibration bronze bushing measured using a vibration meter and the sound level gets the lowest result at 670 rpm. Refers to the ISO 10816 standard that bronze bushings can be recommended for further use.
