Abstract

Bekasi Regency is one of the areas that is developing very quickly. Jalan Bosih Raya is one of the roads that often experiences traffic jams, especially during morning and evening rush hours, with a road width of 5 meters and a 2/2 UD lane type. Congestion occurs due to vehicles going in and out of the market as well as public transportation stopping in front of Cibitung station, industrial activities and shops along the road. Calculation of the performance of the Jalan Bosih Raya section using the PKJI 2023 method. Data analysis in the form of data from vehicle volume surveys, average daily crossings (LHR), side obstacles, population and road geometry. The analysis method uses the 2023 PKJI (Indonesian Road Performance Guidelines) method. Calculation of the performance of the Bosih Raya Road section uses the 2023 PKJI (Indonesian Road Performance Guidelines) method. The analysis results show that the highest vehicle flow value is on weekdays in the south direction at 06.00-09.00 as much as 10761.5 pcu/hour, while the lowest vehicle flow is on holidays in the north direction at 11.00-13.00 as much as 647.9 pcu/hour, the road capacity per lane is 1108.9 pcu/hour and the capacity per lane is 2380.9 pcu/hour, the value of the degree of saturation the highest (DJ) is 9.040 for the South to North direction towards CBL (Cikarang Bekasi Laut) with an LOS value of category F (stumbling) and for the North to South direction towards Jalan Pantura /Pasar Cibitung it is 0.544, with a Level of Service (LOS) value of category B (Stable), the travel speed in the north and south directions is 20 km/hour. The solution for improving the performance of the Bosih Raya Road section is to widen it to 7 meters, the results of the analysis show that there is no change in the Level of Service (LOS) and there is not a significant impact if the widening is carried out because the highest degree of saturation (DJ) value is 5.062 for the South to North direction in the CBL (Cikarang Bekasi Laut) direction with an LOS value of category F (choked) and the North to South direction (Jalan Pantura/Cibitung Market) is 0.305, with a Level value. Of Service (LOS) category B (Stable), so after widening it by 1 meter to the right and left it does not solve the problem of congestion on the Bosih Raya road.
