Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is entitled The Role of the Village Head in Managing Village Funds in Sukakerta Village, Sukawangi District, Bekasi Regency. This research aims to determine the role of the village head in managing village funds in Sukakerta Village, Sukawangi District, Bekasi Regency and what obstacles they experience and also to find out what efforts have been made to overcome these obstacles. The research method used is a qualitative method. Analysis and data collection techniques are studied through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses Rivai's Theory (2013: 129) with 4 indicators, namely: Coordination, Decision Making, Communication, and Attention to Subordinates. Based on the results of research on the Role of Village Heads in Managing Village Funds in Sukakerta Village, Sukawangi District, Bekasi Regency Overall, the four indicators above for the role of the Village Head show good or quite good results. However, there are several obstacles faced, namely: (1) The lack of ability and insight of the village apparatus is very minimal; (2) Lack of communication in Village Fund Management program activities, and the role of the community also needs to be included; (3) Lack of socialization carried out in the implementation of development to encourage the community to participate. Apart from that, the efforts made are: (1) Coordinating with the ranks of the apparatus those in the Village are very minimal; (2) Lack of communication in Village Fund Management program activities, and the role of the community also needs to be included; (3) Lack of socialization carried out in the implementation of development to encourage the community to participate. Apart from that, the efforts made are: (1) Coordinating with the ranks of the apparatus to carry out training to increase knowledge and insight in order to create a sustainable development program (2) Develop and planning proposed programs that are targets in Village Fund management activities; (3) Facilities and infrastructure related to Fund Management are very important to be improved for the implementation of Village Fund Management.
