Abstract
THE ROLE OF THE VILLAGE HEAD IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF DIRECT CASH ASSISTANCE (BLT) IN PANTAI SEDERHANA VILLAGE, MUARAGEMBONG DISTRICT, BEKASI REGENCY Elsaandiniagustin08@gmail.com Government Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Islamic University "45" Bekasi ABSTRACT The Role of Village Heads in Distributing Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in Pantai Sederhana Village, Muaragembong District, Bekasi Regency This study aims to determine the role of the Village Head in appealing for the direct cash assistance (BLT) distribution program in Pantai Sederhana Village, Muaragembong District, Bekasi Regency. The main focus of this study is on the efforts of the village government in distributing direct cash assistance (BLT), inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome the distribution. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the village head is able to direct all village officials in improving community welfare in the direct cash assistance (BLT) program, the village head coordinates with the community, the village head provides guidance to the underprivileged community, and the village head always socializes the community in distributing direct cash assistance (BLT) and communicates regarding improving the progress of direct cash assistance distribution. This study concludes that the role of the village head in distributing direct cash assistance is running very well and effectively because it is planned and coordinated with all village officials to the community who receive it.
